Frank Guerra is a Founder and Principal of Altis Cardinal as well as Altis, LLC. Prior to that, Frank was Principal and President of Neo Development and Neo Holdings. Frank has overseen development and construction of several high-rise and mid-rise residential projects totaling over 3,000,000 square feet (over $850 million) as well as property and asset management of residential and office assets in excess of 2,300,000 square feet. Altis Cardinal has developed particular expertise in the multifamily space having acquired or developed over 2,000 units throughout Florida, Texas and Nevada. Previously, Frank led a distinguished legal career – most notably practicing real estate law at Bilzin Sumberg in Miami.
Frank earned his law degree with an emphasis in real estate and transactional law, and Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in finance, both from George Washington University. Frank is a licensed attorney and member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Alberto J. Suarez is a Founder and Principal of Altis Cardinal. Prior to Altis Cardinal, AJ founded Cardinal Development Group, performing commercial development and construction, land re-zoning, land investment, third-party consulting, condo conversions and work-outs, presiding over $100 million in assets. At a young age, Mr. Suarez was entrusted with the development of multi-million-dollar projects which he carried out successfully during his tenure at Codina Development. Mr. Suarez was responsible for the development of over 2,000,000 square feet of industrial buildings, 300,000 square feet of office buildings and various retail projects in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Altis Cardinal has developed an expertise in the multifamily space having acquired or developed over 2,000 units throughout Florida, Texas and Nevada.
At the University of Pennsylvania, AJ earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The School of Engineering and Applied Science. He later earned a Master’s in Civil Engineering while attending Stanford University. Mr. Suarez is a certified General Contractor and a licensed realtor in the State of Florida.
Anthony Seijas is the newest Principal at Altis Cardinal. He brings over 27 years of experience in the commercial real estate field. He brings institutional experience overseeing South Florida homebuilding operations as regional Vice President at Lennar. Further, at Rialto Capital Advisors he led a 75-person team overseeing the real estate functions of $2.5 billion portfolio. He joined Altis Cardinal to help drive its focus on multi-family acquisition and development expanding Altis Cardinal’s activity throughout Florida and into other states.
Anthony graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is also a member of both the Builders Association of South Florida and the Urban Land Institute.
Mauricio Gurdian is Director of Development at Altis Cardinal. Bringing over ten years of development experience, Mauricio oversees financial and strategic planning preconstruction and drives projects towards stabilization post construction. He previously worked in development of agricultural-industrial businesses overseeing ground-to-fork processes from African and South American producers to European and North American consumers.
Mauricio earned a BS in Industrial Management/Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Sol Cavallini is the Head of Asset Management for residential and office assets for Altis Cardinal. Sol oversees unit sales, leasing, lease management and day-to-day property management. Prior to Altis Cardinal, Sol’s experience consisted of asset and contract management at Neo Development and the Related Companies.
Sol has a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Miami. Sol is a licensed realtor in the State of Florida.
Cesar Llano is Vice President of Development. He brings over 35 years of development of experience; including land identification and planning, financing, entitlement and development. Prior to Altis Cardinal, Cesar was part of the management team at two regional homebuilders responsible for the development of single-family and multi-family master-planned communities and at a local commercial real estate investment group responsible for capital improvements of existing assets.
Cesar holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Tulane University and is a State of Florida licensed General Contractor.
Will Martin is the Project Manager for Altis Cardinal’s development and management projects, based in the Tampa Bay area. Will oversees construction contractors and management personnel for new construction development projects. He has managed and overseen the construction of large-scale multifamily developments in the state of Florida since 2016 and successfully delivered over 1000 units.
Will earned a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University and studies abroad at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
Danny Hernandez is a Development Analyst at Altis Cardinal. He is involved in the acquisition, development, and asset management of all real estate assets. Prior to joining Altis Cardinal, Danny oversaw the underwriting and acquisition of several multifamily assets across the southeast.
Danny earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance from Southern Methodist University.
